campus life!
tuesday was a perfect day going out with my girls (:
ade hopped on the bus as usual and we stopped at far east to walk around a big cos sherilyn missed her bus from her house to the mrt so she would take quite a long while to reach.
went along to cine subway to meet her! *sings* SUBWAY, EAT FRESH!
but that stupid subway branch's toaster had to die on them.
so we had like non-toasted bread and cold unmelted cheese :( boo.
headed to shopping when i saw 2 pretty dresses and i was contemplating which one to buy.
but it was the first shop that i stepped into, so buying it immediately would make me feel like an impulsive shopper. haha.
so we headed on and ade had tried on like 3 pieces of oversized clothes for her. haha.
yes my tiny friend!
headed to taka cos we were more or less dress shopping.
although ade was doing random shopping, sherilyn was looking for a dress with pockets and i was looking for just a dress!
haha. moved on to wisma. seriously, we didn't get anything done.
so we headed for starbucks. ade had the java chip while sherilyn&i have the banana java chip! (:
haha. all thanks to shihwen for getting me addicted to this drink. haha.
we had some advice from our dear sherilyn for our uni choices and courses.
had more heart-to-heart talks plus gossips.
haha. and we're the worst gossip-mongers you can find cos before we say anything, ade would go "is this considered bitching?" hah.
after the starbucks, yes something unexpected happened! (and so ade agrees too)
headed down to get my dress.
sher and i got sunnies from f21. while ade got some super thick and funky hairband from there (: pretty!
headed homeeee..
went campus touring with ade yesterday! (:
haha. nus is super confusing with uneven architecture.
haha. according to jeffrey (our 'tour guide' and a science student at nus), you can attempt to walk through 2 buildings to get to a particular part of campus but don't be surprised if one moment your on the 1st level, when you enter the next building your on the 2nd level.
haha. i think i'll lose my way there.

but xinying (our other 'tour guide' a psychology student at nus) was damn funny.
she was telling me i got the business face :S i was like, THERE'S A BUSINESS FACE?
haha. but she's damn nice lahh.
she brought us around the school with some mahjong paper which she claims is not for the purpose of being a tour guide. haha
and she said that studying in fass is having a free fashion parade everytime the seasons change.
cos people in the arts change their clothes when the fashion changes. haha.
ooh! and so the business school and the fass faculty is so near!
so i can go look for mag for lunches. and one year later, i'll have my prata buddy to go eat prata together!! (:
walked over to the business school and had a tour around there.
people in business have to wear like smart casual everything.
i'd just faint if i had to! they have to look smart.
had our lunch at the business school canteen which is famous for their ipoh hor fun, beijing dumplings and their western food.
but the queues were terrible so we just went for the fastest moving queue.
haha. the food's cheap compared to that in jc i tell you!
jeffrey, ade & i headed to the fass' dean's office to clear some stuff.
we waited damn long and they didn't help at all.
so they gave me the number for the office of admissions but the operator almost took my life away from me! :( it was useless and annoying.
the 3 of us headed to jurong point so that we could travel to ntu! (:
haha. ntu has such a pretty campus!
it'll be like a holiday resort (: it's gorgeous.
and the admission people are so much more helpful.
i love the school. the campus is so "romantic" - quoted from morgan you.
so we decided to take a photo souvenir of the ROMANTIC campus!
haha. choices to make now my dear ade.
headed to jp to collect my famous amos cookies i order for weeby's welcome home present.
bought jelly too (: ade finally got her wedges that she was eyeing from since i don't know when.
hah. but yes.
THANKS ADE! for heading down to all the campus' with me today even though you didn't need to.

my baby went back to tekong island yesternight.
but it was a good weekend spent with him (:
had pizza for dinner last night! finally. i've been having cravings for bread with a hell lot of cheese and extra toppings on a tomato base since forever.
yesterday was a lovely day of just lazing around at home for me.
i was sleeping like for more than 14hours yesterday.
and i'm damn happy i did that cos my eyebags are vanishing quite rapidly i must say (:
i just order 2 handmade wired pendants from online :D
but i've yet to get my lazy bum off to the atm machine to transfer the money.
i'll do it soon! so i can get my pretty stuff soon as well (:

pirates
yesterday saw me watching pirates of the caribbean: at world's end with weeby at vivo city.
haha. it was a great relaxing day for both of us yesterday.
he went to skate while i enjoyed myself sleeping at home.
one thing good about vivo city is that we'll never be late for movies.
we left my house at about 5.15pm by cab but our movie was at 5.25pm at vivo.
we were not late for the movie, in fact, still a litle early.
haha. thankyou commercials and advertisements!
i'm a really big fan of pirates of the caribbean so i can't give fair judgement of the movie.
well, naturally i enjoyed it very much.
the almost 3 hour movie didn't seem that long at all.
it felt the most 2 hours.
had dinner with babylove.
had a heart-to-heart talk with him yesterday.
talking about something we have to face eventually.

bimbo talk + future talks
baby's out out out!! (:haha. met ade and her cousin for a little while yesterday! (:
missed my dear friend already :/
so we were talking like we used to and suddenly, we were talking about different guys we see on tv and who are the cute ones. haha
isn't it funny how we can always find something to talk about despite knowing each other so well?our conclusion, michael buble, despite being a little on the chuby side, shouts "marry me" when he wears a suit and smiles (showing his teeth) in his "everything" music video. haha.
on the other hand, we've concluded that wentworth miller should stay his broody self. cos when he's broody, the intensity of his eyes are just so pretty! do you see those eyes? (: now do you prefer him bald or with hair?
haha. yes. we're crazy.
we weren't all bimbo! we were talking about our future studies as well.
for her, it's an easier choice is white uni to go into to take fass psychology.
i have totally 2 different career paths laid in front of me.
while one is the practical and logical choice, the other is something which i think i would like to do, but i can't confirm until i've really been there before.
this is driving me nuts! i'm also thinking of the possible scholarship which might come with one of them! :(
i still have about a week to think about it before i decide fate of my future.
met max at heeren for him to get his lava lamp to bring back to thailand. haha.
after which, we took a bus to the "office" for him to say bye and for me to collect my free admission passes for the launch of scandal's night at the ex-club momo and new revamped velvet dragon.
even though personally i think momo sounds less beng-ish.
haha. but ya. anyone who wants to go, just let me know alright? (:
i might still have extra admission passes! (:
headed back to baby's house to meet his mummy and daddy so that we can go all the way down to pasir ris to pick wee up! (:
haha. his parents and i have concluded that people from the west seldom go to pasir ris and the only reason we go there is to pick up and army boys and to drop them off :(
it's pretty sad actually. haha.
weeby was eating the lao po bing and the pengpeng that i bought from chinatown.
i thought they were yummy. haha
on the way back, we stopped by the bukit timah market to get our dinner.
a very enormous dinner.
we had 2 fish porridge, 1 oyster omelete, 1 fried oyster, 2 bowls of tang yuan with beancurd, 1 wanton mee for 5 people to eat.
& this is his family's 2nd dinner so it was too much!
baby talked me through my uni applications.
i'm damn scared, so i hope i choose the right choice!

first entry on the laptop!
i just got my personal laptop! (:
it was a present from my dad before he leaves for shanghai on friday.
now i feel pressured to do extra well in uni cause he got it for me mainly for uni.
but since he's leaving soon, i got it today! (:
it was between the 15.5inch sony vaio and this 14inch acer.
the acer has every feature that the vaio has and so much more.
as much as i wanted the vaio cos i thought she was such a beauty with the pure white interior and exteriors.
this was a practical choice.
although my father allowed me to get either.
i had to go for this baby. haha.
i would be the biggest bimbo alive if i were to get the vaio.
it was literally a beauty but with little functions!
i love my new laptop. and it's personal.
in my room together with a personal printer attached to it.
gosh. i feel like i'm in some office now.
but at least for now, i know i got my own private space.
thankyou daddy-oh! (:yayness! (: i'm gonna meet shihwen for some exhibition assistant interview later in the morning!
gosh it's damn late now.
and after that i'll be home before dinner to bake cookies for my daddy to bring back to shanghai for my mummy (:

oh happy days!
THURSDAY!! (:
the toilet troupe of 2004 goofing around as usual when we went back to mg to play visitation.
ooh! we made those stars yes?
haha. the teacher's were exactly the same, except for mr ling!
haha. he's hilarious now. the other side which we haven't seen before.
the school's changed so much.
it's rather despressing. it's so metallic and modern.
no more babycolours with a warm feeling no more.
macs before mg and hotcakes for ade&jess&i. sherilyn had an egg mcmuffin without the egg. haha.
headed to town after mg for the isetan private sale.
ade's mum spent a bomb on her! haha. lucky duck.
i bought 2basic tops from topshop. that's about it.
sherilyn got this candy striped dress from topshop.
ade on the other hand, bought a purple print top and shorts from top shop, a tube dress from zara, 2 items from m)phosis. haha. LUCKY!
had pepper lunch for lunch. haha. so i changed into one of my new tops before going to the docs at paragon cos i didn't wanna go there smelling like pepper and butter! hah.
OHYES! sherilyn gave ade this damn hilarious name! haha.
but i shan't put it up here in case ade feels sad.
headed to plaza sing to get my samsung charger changed (: and then to 'office' for andreas birthday after that (:

and it's no doubt we spent it with him!
yes yes, cos we all loved him.
nothing much! just played around as usual.
haha. yit han fell with the "cake" and he dirtied the floor.
but it was intentional but dirtying the floor wasn't.

FRIDAY! i went for my ntu teaching interview! haha.
the people there are like a few hundred times nicer than that at nus business.
proud idiots.
the most ironic thing was the the people who interviewed me at nus business were nothing but the graduates of the school.
but the people who interviewed me at ntu actually had every right to be proud.
they were like professors and what not!
i love that place! (: i just hope that everyone in the world could be just like that.
i was damn happy after the interview.
i have no idea whether i made it in or not, but they were nice so i was happy (:
went around with dad for like the rest of the entire day.
haha. went around for more food.
he bought some printer ink for the printer at home.
and got my my kelly green t from esprit cos my polo kelly green has ripped off buttons :( so i just got it replaced! (:
apart from that, he bought me gummies as well.
that totally made my day. i love gummies. haha.
went to bedok to pick my brother up from the guards camp and headed to werner's for dinner.
haha. german meatloaf is just like ham! i thought it was something cool, but it tasted just like ham!
my brother had the pork knuckles. haha. his verdict? there's more fats than meat.
dad had a MINI sausage! haha. couldn't imagine how that was enough for him.
despite the complaints. the food there was good.
and please try the traditional german fruit cake with ice-cream. heaven!
went home to watch rented movies. ERAGON! (:

it's a damn funny cartoon animation! so shrek kinda comedy!
ooh! did i mention that baby got me flowers this week? (:

bought sam this zara top and a heart shaped balloon.
haha. headed for her birthday where i got lost.
long story. but i wasn't the only one. everyone else got lost too!
haha. her birthday had this indian theme to it.
and we play games like taboo and double wacko. haha.
pretty cute.
dinner was like a banquet with western cuisine.
I LOVED THE DINNER SAM!
the chicken and sauteed potatoes went absolutely well together.
but the best part was the tiramisu! not the cake but the real deal.
she had a durian cake for her birthday cake which i thought looked like a wedding cake (:
haha. but overall it was fun.
need more time for catching up though!
SUNDAY! went to pick my brother up again.
and i had my fish porridge with an egg in it from breakie.
church ushering duty was up next.
brought my brother to 'office' and now he's with me! (:
singing though. i'm in a different section. but he's there.
he can finally take this opportunity to expose himself (:

today marks the 19th month anniversary for wee&i! (:
it's been a long time since the two of us embarked on this adventure of the unknown.
unknown about the depth of love, unknown to how much someone can care so much for you, unknown to how people fight over the smallest things in life, unknown to how we can change each other's life.
but we've been through it.
and we've made it thus far.
darling, i know i've not been the most awesome girlfriend in the world.
especially how i make your days just so bad every time you book out.
i always let situations and what people say to me get the better of me.
i let the problems i face everyday spill over to the weekends that you book out.
instead of giving you the best 2 days you'll ever have, i have to pour out all my emotions to you.
why? even though i tell my friends what's going on, i want you to know.
because i don't want us to drift during your time in that dreaded green uniform.
i still want you to be aware about what's going on in my life.
because i care about us. i want us to work out.
but guess what? today marks the day that just let everything out.
no more strong facades till i break down one day, i'll take things slowly.
go for courses to enrich my life so i don't get cooped at home and become and moody old woman.
even though it's going to erode all my money since i'm not working anymore, i'll do it.

one week!
boyohboy has this been one hell of a long week for me.
wee went for his fieldcamp on saturday and i had absolutely no contact with him.
but i'm glad i had a few events to attend to (:
i stayed at home the whole of monday! aren't you all proud of me? i stay home to be a good girl.
nothing exciting happened on tuesday except for jc's birthday i guess.
but before that, mumtazah and i met up for a small shopping spree which failed terribly and sat around yakun kaya toast for an egg meal and kaya!
jc's birthday! haha. it was practically all lying and stuff just to give him a slight surprise for his birthday.
his cake was adorable!
we had a picture of stefanie sun on it together with the lyrics of his favourite song by her. haha.
it was more of a day of bonding with the people there.
we had dinner at the hawker near by.
we talked about everything from how clt+f would cause a pop out to find keywords and how clt+alt+del was used when the computer hangs. all the way to pets and phones! haha.
it's just about knowing each one better. it was literally a fun filled day.

but i'm a happy girl now. and nothing those idiots say are going to bring me down for long.

bookout day!! (: but it was late so we decided to head back home to rest and recuperate for a great day!
i bought him a happy 19th month cake and sorry flowers (whoever said girls cannot get their boyfriend flowers)
haha. yeah. i screwed up again letting pms get the better of me!
but hey! i got a really understanding boy and everything's good great now! (:
we rested the whole day talking things through just resting.
bliss.
headed to town. he got me a little necklace!! (:
it's not those ex ones but there's a significant meaning behind mine! (:
i love it to bits.
he stayed till late at my place to talk to me and just to listen to me despite him being so tired from his field camp.

today we had mother's day lunch with his family - direct and extended (:
i played monopoly with his little cousin. haha.
she's damn cute lah. both of them actually.
time flies so i had to send my boy off.

experiences
haha. the make up's pretty awesome right? (:
headed down to the toni&guy academy yesterday in preparation for the hair show.
but before that, i met sam for a little while to pass her some nude colour leggings that she totally loves but can't be found in singapore.
i got those for her from shanghai. haha.
so i reached the academy at like 9.50am and sat around talking to the other people there.
ooh! dud i mention that sally was there too?
i love her look. it's like goth glam! cool shit.
& her headress was definitely something from a victorian era.
my hair was only touched for a little while at like 11am.
had nasi lemak for lunch :(
the nasi lemak that soiled the puma jacket that my lovely got for me! :(
did the make up and just fooled around most of the time.
my outfit was hideous though.
it was like some denim/cloth tube that's barely covering the belly button paired with a white "skirt" made out of a piece of cloth and a safety pin.
white stockings and calf high white boots.
that's basically it.
headed down to dxo only at 4.30pm after everyone's hair and make up was done for practice and rehearsal.
poor shihwen&tongloong had to wait so long cos they only opened the doors at like 8pm when the invite said it'll start by 7. goodness.
but the nerves were getting to all of us actually.
alan&max got drunk. &i found out that sarah&kate were twins.
but it was way fun. for the experience, my poor hair got curled. sprayed. gelled. waxed. straightened. waxed again :(
it was fun though. i made 2 few friends (:
it was a long day with little food for me.
BURGERKING with shihwen&tong after that.
i had my mushroom swiss, chicken cheesesticks and onion rings. i had to reward myself.

thanks to rachel for the comforting hug that i didn't look scary.

i detest singapore's bus services.
i woke up early in the morning hoping to be able to see my baby one last time before the army takes him back away from me again.
i waited for a cab for like 20mins outside my house but to no avail.
so i took a bus.
the bus was so sardine squeezy with an annoying guy blasting his mp3 so i could hear every word of every song.
after a while, some people wanted to get off so they can't.
so i tried moving aside for them, but i got pushed off the bus.
and the uncle just simply drove off like that!
hence, i couldn't make it to see my baby in time.
feeling depressed i walked home holding my brolly in the rain.
haha. but, i miss my boy already.
no bookout for him this weekend cos of field camp :(
sunday was meet the robinsons day with my lovely!! (:
in 3d! it's a cute show lahh..
but i love the geeky 3d glasses that they gave to us! haha.
monday! shihwen, tong and wee came over to my home as a meet up place.
we played with the pooches at my house for like 2 hours so we ended up leaving my house 2 hours late!
haha. cabbed down to vivo cos we figured it was cheaper.
taking a bus would cos us approx $2 each.
4 x $2 = $8
taking a cab would be around $10. SO WHY NOT? (:
reached there and the sun was hot as hell.
haha. so i got myself some sun block since i can't change colour too drastically unless i want to get into trouble.
played a little volleyball &i realised i'm better at serving than playing itself :S
headed over to the kayaking booth which cost like a bomb.
but what the heck! we paid for it and a locker which was like $28 for half an hour in total.
headed to sakae buffet after kayaking.
haha. goodness! i had no idea how greedy i am!
despite me being not hungry, i just kept eating even after i was full.
explains the weight gain. but i like myself more like that than a gross 45kg! i'm healthy now! (:
hopefully i don't become an elephant in 2weeks or something!
it was a damn fun day lah.
but everyone else was like chaotah but i wasn't! haha.
headed to khorkhor's belated birthday dinner at majesto's! (:
bought the 20inch pizza and portobello shrooms! yummy.
yesterday was spiderman 3 day with wee&his cousins!
haha. it was a good movie! (:
the more bad guys the better.
i loved the movie (:
came back for dinner with my brother!
fried fish fillet with 2 pieces of fried chicken with french fries, a bowl of noodles and a bowl of soup! heeeelp!
but greed is good. i should pamper myself more! (:
oh yes!! i love my new
samsung ultra 13.8! she's a beauty. i love it!
my first big investment that i used my own hard earned money getting (:
i'll have to treasure this phone.
